As funding priorities had to shift over the past few years, critical projects such as updates to the kitchens and bathrooms in our residences had to be put on the back burner.
It's time we take these projects off the back burner and move them to the forefront.
With the constant use of the kitchens and bathrooms over the past two years, these areas are in desperate need of renovations. In addition, our bathrooms need to accommodate the growing accessibility demands of our individuals and need to be equipped with barrier-free, walk-in showers.
Repairing and renovating our kitchens and bathrooms is essential and must be done for the well-being, safety, and comfort of our individuals.
